Hello everyone,
First time poster on this board which has been an absolutely fantastic resource for tips and tricks in restoring my hand-me-down Mitsubishi MT372D back to top working condition. I'll be posting a thread soon with some pictures and some of my own tips I've learned along the way.
Today, I have a question regarding the gasket that seals the nozzle body to the cylinder head. My KE70 engine starts and runs pretty decent but I notice that there is a considerable amount of combustion gases escaping past the interface between one of the injector nozzles and the cylinder head. I checked the parts manual and I notice that there are 2 gaskets listed and I'm not sure which one I need: K6515430 which is listed as "gasket, nozzle" or K9612280 which is listed as "gasket, chamber". I use the tractor daily on my farm, so ideally I would have all the parts on hand before I start taking things apart. Has anyone replaced the gaskets before and if so could they point me in the right direction?
Thank you,
Rocky
