Mud Season

Not being a native of this area (I'm a southern boy way up in the land of yankees /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif), I did not have a real appreciation of what mud season was. /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

Now I understand why my partner said "We shall have a paved driveway . . ." /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif

My brother in law usually manages to top me with his tales of this or that, said he had to climb up on the roof of a Case 580 backhoe to get out of a mudhole to go get a dozer.

My response...last time I was stuck I had to have a friend repel down the side of the hole with ropes to bring me a chain. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I got stuck once in a foundation hole. Flat side and had to climb out of my window to get out of the cab. Couldn't open the door, to close to the side of the hole. Good thing was it was easy to get out. Bad thing was had to get the wife on the 8n to give me a tug. Took awhile to live that one down./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
