Muddy Fittings?

Thanks again everyone. When I purchased the loader the hoses had been disconnected and the loader was sitting in the dirt. It looks like dirt on the fitting only. To be honest, I have not taken a good look at the hoses because I have been focused on learning to weld so I could get the loader mounted on the tractor. The outer cover on some of the hoses are cracked and pealed and some hoses look like they need to be cleaned.

I really do not think the dirt is inside the hoses. The previous owner was a hack. Some fitting look like pipe fittings. Later this week I will take them apart and give them and good cleaning and then replace any parts that are too bad.

If you pressure wash those hoses they will definitely show cracks and loose rubber, and that is not good.

I would measure out those hoses and search Surplus hyd for a match or close enough.
