I bought one of the first 8" they sold on EBAY. Here is a link to pictures of it after I got done putting it together...

Without getting into a long and drawn out argument or discussion, it is basically a 'Jinma' type 6"
chipper with a bigger mouth [opening is larger to allow for larger logs to be chipped, about 10" wide by 8" tall], and a bigger diameter feed roller to help feed in the larger stuff. The cutters are identical to the 6"
chipper, which is about 10" long. The chute on these units is longer to help support the weight of the bigger logs, and maybe to help in the safety department by keeping you farther from the roller and cutting blades, and that is why they put the brace under it in the front. All these units are front heavy and tippy when not hooked onto your tractor, and with the longer chute, these units are even worse. These units also use basically all the same parts as the various 'Jinma' type chippers, and you can source parts from various places. I don't like the setup it came to disengage the feed roller, and modified mine quite a bit. I have used several different chippers in the past, and went with the bigger unit on purpose. I will probably never chip much stuff bigger than 4" or so, but if you have ever worked a
chipper, you know why bigger is better. There is every shape of branch out there, and with all the side branches and how they flare out, it comes to a shoving and twisting match to get some to fit in the mouth. If you want to get a 6" on EBAY, check out BEDST. Also do a search on JINMA on this site, lots of reading stuff. Good luck, Jerry.
