Multipower operates via a hydraulic clutch, doubles the number of gears (6F/2R to 12F/4R) and stuck in low is the common failure mode. YOu can still use the tractor but there's no engine braking or hill holding capability (available only in MP "high" range). To fix the MP unit you have to split the tractor to remove the unit. Parts are expensive.
