I click on the Quote button in the message that contains the most information I want to quote.

For all the other quotes, I do it manually by copying the text and adding {quote=userid}text{/quote}

Perhaps others have a better method.

I just did the above by opening two browser windows to the same thread. I used the QUOTE button in Scotty's post and then used it in MikePA's post. Then, I copied MikePA's quote to this post and put it under Scotty's. If I wanted to do quotes from 10 different posts, it would get a little tedious, but it saves having to do a bunch of careful bracketing and such. This works great for quoting from multiple threads.

Another way for multiple quotes from a single thread is just to type a single template like MikePA did. Copy and paste it several times into your post and then scroll down to the text and copy the quoted material and paste it into your template. Then modify the username for each quote and you're done.

Two ways to skin a similar cat.:)

Scotty,

Change the curly brackets that MikePA used to square brackets. He used curly brackets to demonstrate only. If he had used square brackets or you use them, it will look like this:

I just use the button at the top in the reply window, it adds the "quotes" for you. It's the yellow box that looks like it has writing in it.

Then I just scroll down to the previous post's and copy the text I want to quote then paste it between the quote code.

Then you can do quotes within quotes within quotes... :)
