Must be something in the water, but here's another grapple.I build these forks early in the year to work on the fel & 3pt. so I add this grapple to them. This is not as pretty as some of I've see on here, but it is cheap made out scrap I had around the shop .I have about $100 in it I had the cylinder and most of the iron, had to buy 10' of 1/2 x 2 "gold" flatiron they are proud of that stuff. The cutting & welding is a little rough but I'm 67 and shake like bluejay trying pass a peach seed. But like dad use to say didn't build it to look at build it to use and it works good.

Curiosity question, does the grapple stop on the forks or pass just on the outside?? Nice workmanship! I've added the pics to my someday maybe collection. MikeD74T

Very good job on the grapple. Can you take a picture with the arm in the up position on the tractor. What stroke is the cylinder? I want to add one on my tractor but I never get the time to make one. Now I have a picture to give me a good start. Thanks again for the posting.

The grapple stop just a inch off the forks. the cylinder is a 8" it would have worked with a 4" or 6" but I already had the 8".My son and I are clearing cedars off his place so we're moving alot of brush it works great on the back, you back up grab big pile of brush take off and can see were you are going .Haven't got the hose run up to loader but hope to next week.

Yeah, very good job.
It looks very simple and versatile for clearing brush like that.
The expanded metal is a good idea for protection of the hoses and cylinder rod too. Have you had any problem with twigs and stuff getting stuck in it?

3RRL haven't had a problem yet but haven't use it much. I was going try to get the hoses run up to the fel this weekend ,but my son invited me to go down to his deer lease ,its bow season here in Texas he shot a 10pt last weekend.I told him I haven't shot a bow in 20 years he said thats ok all I would need is a hammer,we are going to put a new roof on his cabin "oh boy "so it will be a couple of weeks before I get back to the tractor.
