I'm starting this thread to discuss and review my new MUTS ATV trailer. Feel free to discuss your trailer if you have one or ask questions. I'll also post videos of the trailer as time allows.
Developed in the Canadian north Ontario woods, the MUTS trailer is built for towing behind am ATV/UTV or tractor. It uses a boogie suspension with 4 high flotation tires. The coolest feature is its hand operated winch that lifts the bed to dump.
MUTS - Multi-Use Trailer System for your ATV, Quad and 4 Wheeler - Welcome
I've been studying these trailers for around 5 years. Since they are now available in the US without having to deal with customs I couldn't come up with an excuse not to buy one! I ordered my trailer on Tuesday and picked it up at the freight depot on Thursday! The trailer comes in a large box that's around 6' long. The box is attached to a pallet to make handling easier. The shipment weight is around 510 lbs. So you either need some equipment or a few folks to move the crate around.
Today I'm posting pics of unloading crate from my truck, what the shipment looks like without the lid and a tire size comparison with my Honda Foreman 450ES. The big floatation tires are cool! I'll post more info in a few days!
