I'd say the MX5000 would be adequate but marginal. If you're making small square bales, dropping them on the ground (as opposed to pulling a wagon behind the baler), baling on fairly level ground, and taking your time; you should be fine. I know I've baled with far less tractor than the MX5000 (Ford 2000) under similar conditions. You would probably be OK pulling the wagon if your land is table level; but I don't think you should expect to run a bale thrower. The others you're looking at would be better only from the standpoint of increased tractor weight; the same restrictions would apply.
There are others here much more into haying than I. You'll probably get better information from them. Like you, my hay acreage is rather small.
