Mx5200 dpf deep

So someone was using the tractor in the farm and did not put the tractor into regen mode the tractor now has a p3008 error with exclamation point. I talked to the dealer and looks like they're going to have to do three servicing one coming out to clear the code II to remove the diesel particle filter if the code is not cleared and the third to reinstall the particle filter after it has been cleaned. Obviously this is going to cost a lot of money and I wanted to check with the community to see what would be the best solution.

I'm pretty handy I can probably uninstall the particle filter and have it done myself at a shop. Dole if I do this will the cold still be in the Kubota and the beep continue. Or will the tractor stop beeping after it reads that the particle filter is clean? Other option would be possibly even removing the particle filter from the system has anyone tried doing this before?

I'm surprised it went so far as to need a dpf cleaning. My L6060 has been used on a grain auger twice where the people using it weren't aware of regen. I can't remember why it didn't auto regen but maybe it did and they stopped it in the middle. Anyway when I got back to it I found a regen error, did parked regen both times, and everything was back to normal. I kind of assumed your M5200 would be the same as I think they use the same engine with a different power rating but I could be wrong.

If my filter needed a cleaning and was out of warranty (remember the emissions warranty is much longer than any regular warranty) I would see my dealer first in case they had arrangements with a cleaning specialist. I found what it takes to destroy a dpf. The turbo oil seals failed on my M135GX oiling the DPF. The mechanic tried 2 parked regens but it still showed 60% after the second. Kubota replaced both turbo and DPF.
