Hello, first post, but I've used site for a lot of research. Tractor won't start or crank off key switch. Dash shows code P0606 which is some issue with PCM/ECM. It will start with a trigger jumping solonoid. I suspect it to be a safety sensor, but I can't find any additional ones that I haven't already bypassed and checked.
-checked keyswitch, have 12V at the switch and coming out
- Checked fuses in fuse box
- unplugged the HST neutral saftey under left floor board (Is supposed to bypass neutral saftey and seat)
- Tried to bypass seat saftey. 3 wires on connector, red black and blue. I jumped red to black, blue to black, red to blue and no dice.
When I jumped the starter tractor started. When I got off seat, tractor died. Parking brake on. This is odd. Dealer mechanic I called said only the PTO safety would be responsible for that. I have the yellow circular PTO switch, I cannot find the related safety. It connects with a 3 wire plug to a wire loom on right fender. That loom goes to feed worklights. I follow the loom under and there is a single wire going into case.
I've had to jiggle the HST peddle since I bought it as it doesn't return to center perfectly. If I hold the key in the start position and jiggle the treddle I can hear what I think is a relay clicking under the dash. I cannot see relays though. The treddle goes through the case. It also has a linkage that goes forward about 6" and then goes into the case. From youtube I notice some Kubota's have a linkage on the right side that goes to a safety but I can't find that at all.
Basically my question is, what else can I test? I found in research that the neutral safety on the left side would disable the seat . safety as well, but when unplugged the tractor still dies when getting off seat. If I cannot figure anything else out next stop is dealer mechanic. I've attempted to follow the 12v hot from key on trigger through the system but the wire loom dissapears under the dash. I can't locate a schematic, and I don't want to dissasemble the entire tractor to trace wires.
