My 2004 DK50's air conditioner is blowing luke warm air

WIth that vintage tractor (in California) what do I need to do to get it to blow cold air?

Have you tried to recharge it?
Could be more serious, could need a simple recharge.
You can get a couple cans of coolant at the local auto parts and pump it in in minutes.

I'm not sure how to recharge it. Never done that before- also does it matter what coolant I use? I know there was a time that they changed the coolant types, but I don't know when that was. Is there an inline
valve to recharge it?
