I posted this in the sticky about PEC but maybe that thread is past its shelf life. :)
After I get done posting this new topic I will try to edit out/ delete the other post.

I have a couple of questions. I have a JD 755 cat 1. I've attached a photo of the end of the hitch arm, showing how little length there is. Will the PEC work on it? Actually I might be interested in having them cut and have PEC's welded on. Read on....

Second, I notice that the RH arm has an arc or bend in it, and both ball ends sit square to their mounting pins. But the LH arm, in the photo, is more or less straight, with no bend in it. I say more or less because it looks like it has been bent and then straightened. There is a little waviness in it but overall it is straight. And notice how the ball end is not perpendicular to the pin. It is the same way at the tractor end of it too. If it was shaped (bent) like the other one, it would sit square. So is it supposed to have the arc or bend in it?

Next, I measured my implements at the hitch mounts. The box blade, rotary mower, and back blade are ~26" wide. I'm guessing this is a standard Cat 1. I have a finish mower that has the mounting shown, measuring 28". (Cat 2??) Not only that, the links below the pins will interfere with the PEC. I'm thinking the triangular piece could be modified or replaced with something that is A) 26" wide, and B) has the pins forward of the links. Anyone run across this, have any suggestions, etc.? (The wide angle lens made it look like the pin mount triangle is bent. It's not.)

Finally, I have a Befco tiller, something like 52" give or take. Its hitch mounting is only 23". Can I get pins with longer threaded sections, and use 1.5" spacers between the pins and stock mounting so I would have 26"? Or...???

I guess what I'm thinking is that it would be very nice to have all the implements be 26". Am I making too much of that? In any event, something has to be done to the finish mower mount, I think.

Could you not turn the pins to the inside of the A frame?

Or weld new brackets on to support new pins.

That picture of your lift arm sure looks like it's been bent before, and then straightened out again. That in itself might pose a problem attaching the PEC. If I recall, the PEC instructions state that the arms have to be a straight a certain distance (maybe like 4" or so??) in order to attach the PEC to it. Maybe cutting and welding would be the way to go in your situation???
