That's cute, Cliff! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

You should have taken it one step further and had the rear tires raised a little off of the ground! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

It wasn't a house, but my tractor did something similar last week...

48" box and pan brake in the crate...400 lbs or so...piece of cake /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

OK, you can say it's a "pan brake", but I'm wondering whose body is in that pine box?

Well, you know, someone on TBN was talking about Biodiesel smelling pretty good, so I tried some and sat their sniffing it for while, just so I could be sure. You know, it does smell better (especially with a dash of vanilla). It also doesn't leave you with that diesel hangover you get when you sniff regular diesel. Not that I've ever sniffed regular diesel.

Henro,

Are them chains on for a reason or are you using them for ballast?? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Murf,

Funning thing is my first thought was, those chains are holding the crate up! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Then I remembered with all the rain this year, after taking my chains off early spring, I put them back on a couple weeks later as I was having traction problems with the wet conditions.

Then a couple days ago I realized that in addition to aiding tractor, they are pretty heavy and add close to 80 lbs per tire, and are effectively wheel weights of sorts, contributing to stability. The loaded tires+chains seemed to be enough rear ballast for the crate, as it was mostly air, except for the 400 lbs of metal... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Cliff, I got rid of that box pronto...I was afraid it might be my body that would be in it if the wife realized how much money I have been spending on myself recently... all tractor and tool related purchases... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Continuing the proof that we move a lot of things other than dirt with our loaders, here's a photo of me moving a rolltop desk. I just let it hang below the forks and all I had to do was get it through the door while trying to avoid the deck column. Everything came together without a scratch. Of course the desk probably weighs only 150 lb or so. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
