I don't remember if the "MotionMatch" was an option, if it was
it was diddly dollars but worth the whole HST price.
My Kubota BX was killing me as I couldn't master the knack
of using the pedal gently enough to keep me from jerking to
a stop. I run other tractors so when I switch it takes me
a bit each time to adapt if the tractor is forgiving of
ignorance.
The "MotionMatch" on the JD allows me to be precise, I put it
on "tight" when I have a low power setting and I can inch
forward or back. On high speed I put it on "loose" and just
pull my foot off the pedal and it coasts gently to a stop. I ran it for quite
a bit today and had no backpain, whiplash.
