My $50 Find

Well I was on craigslist last night and seen someone was selling a 4ft back blade for $90. So I go look at it today and offered him $50 for it and said just take it want to clean up my yard. there is nothing wrong with it. It turn 360 degrees. Tell me what you think.

It looks just like the one I bought at TSC 15 years ago for $163. I have since made an adapter that bolts on to the blade so I can also use it on the front of my jd 2305. It looks like you have enough tractor to bend it if it hooks on to something solid.

Sweet deal! Looks like a good fit for your tractor. You'll be able to do a lot of useful work with it.

Seems to be a great find and a great fit for your tractor. Is that your standard top-link? or is it something that came with the blade? An adjustable top link allows you to level things out so that the blade cuts evenly when put at an angle. You can test how level you linkage is be swinging the blade 90 deg and see if it sits level.

Sounds like you got it for FREE, yes? SWEET! Picked up mine (older, very heavy unit) a few years back in the junkyard for $50. I've plowed a lot of snow, dirt & gravel since. One of my better finds. Enjoy yours.
