My 5093e is on the ground.

Got my 5093e delivered on Monday and here's a few pictures because I know the rules. This is my first new tractor purchase and it has been a long and somewhat tiring search. (paralysis by analysis) Thank goodness it's over!!

I got a multicoupler and 3rd function with my 553 loader. I highly recommend the multicoupler if you are going to be removing the loader very much, especially if equipped with 3rd function. Also went with the global carrier and of course the low profile tires and vertical exhaust for extra clearance in my poultry houses.

Had a couple of problems with a right turn signal that would not turn off (ground wire unplugged) and the rpms in 540e mode would go way above 1700. (linkage needed adjusted) Dealership sent the tech out and promptly solved the issues. Also, the loader was missing the bucket level indicator (dealer says he'll get me one)
Do they not check these things before delivery?

I have really appreciated this site as it allowed me to greatly increase my familiarity with the particular models I was considering. Thanks to all who have taken the time to post about their tractors and answer my posts.

thats a nice looking tractor.they put them in the shop an prep for delivery.an they mustve thought everything was set,or flat out didnt check those 2 things.

Nice looking tractor there! As others said those tires are great looking and rugged too.

One thing, the front Hydraulic outlets look a bit fragile the way they sort of hang out there, also surprise they are not covered with caps as they will be a dust and dirt magnet.

I thought the same thing when I saw the way the QC's had been installed. My dealer transferred the tractor in from another dealership and added the multicoupler and 3rd function stuff after they got it.
I didn't want to nitpick them to death so I was just gonna let it slide and later on maybe weld me up a bracket on the torque tube or something. I definitely need to add some dust caps asap though.
The salesman told me before my purchase that anything they added would be just like it came from the factory and I would not be able to tell the difference. I hope that is not how JD sends them out from Georgia.
Also there is a few little rust spots I'm not too fond of. Nothing a little sanding and some paint won't fix I guess.
In hindsight, I feel as though I might've gotten a little bit better product had I ordered it straight from the factory.

Sorry didn't mean to nitpick, but its such a great looking machine - guess its attention to detail.

Maybe your dealer supply you a male and female end caps - by the way have a long enough chain to connect them together when using those couplers - so you can plug the one into the other so they don't get dirty.
