Hi, Im new to the forum and just bought my first B21. Its a 2004 with only 149 hrs on it. So far so good I love this thing. Can any one tell my what is the largest York rake I should run off of this? Also, Im looking to put a cutting edge on the front bucket. Any Ideas where I can get one. Will the B26 fit? Thanks:D

If you are looking for a tooth bar for the loader bucket, I would recommend "Markam Welding" in North Carolina. They are very popular units with many on this site; and their prices are competitive and hard to beat! (They have a Web site.)

Also, welcome to the forum; there is a lot of talent here that will help you solve your problems, and spend your money too!!

I have a 2006 B21 with about 125hrs or so. Mine came with a stock cutting edge on the loader bucket (not a tooth bar). It works really well. I used it for rebuilding dirt roads as a weekend business. This is my 4th Kubota. I wouldn't go too big on the rear blades or landscape rake. The manual says 60" for rear blade, but doesn't say anything about landscape rake. You want to be able to at least extend out past the rear wheels at full angle. If you go too big and fill the landscape rake up with gravel and sand, you may bog down. I'd do 60" or maybe 72" depending what I was going to do with it.

Congratulations on your new TLB. I think you will be impressed with the capabilities and the ruggedness of that little machine. I've owned mine now for a couple of years, and it has performed well beyond my expectations. Although it is only rated for 21 hp, It seems to turn most of my implements without any trouble, including my Jinma chipper (withing reason, of course). Do realize though, that it is a small machine, and it works much more efficiently taking small bites out of projects, rather than trying to run through things like a bulldozer. You could probably dig a trench by hand faster than the backhoe, but nowhere near as long! I've also found that the B21 seems to be a little more robustly built, versus the standard B series tractors, perhaps due to the fact that many of these TLB's go directly into the rental market.

In regards to a tooth bar, what do you want to do with one? I don't think you'll be able to bust up hard packed soil with a tooth bar on that loader, and if you're looking to break up brush, consider some brush or trash forks that clamp on. Much more effective. Your local dealer should be able to weld a cutting edge onto the bucket, if that's what you're looking for.

My heavily weighted B7200 Gear model struggles but suprizes me with being able to handle a 84" HD Landpride rake!

Takes all of its 17 hp to pull it but 1st gear high range is what I usually use, not low range. However I would keep the BB size to 54 or 60 " max.

Good luck on your B21, I have one that is about 10 years old with 1750 hr's on it and it still runs like a champ.
