I thought I'd pass along the modification I made to my original seat until I can get a new seat. I'll post pictures of some of the work I've done as soon as I can.
First picture is my BX.
Second is the level of the seat after mod.
Third is the difference in the springs, both in length and diameter. The smaller springs allow for a more level seat and a softer ride. The springs came off a Cub Cadet rider that I have. If you want to do a similar mod, you can probably go to a Cub dealer and order similar springs.
