My Deutz GT turned Sub Compact tractor

I have wanted to do this for 17 years but never had the time or money. Blew a few disks out in my back and figured I need something to do the lifting for me. Looked at used and new machines and was never happy with them so built my own. Project started small but got out of control quick. So things like a backhoe were not in the original plan but it now has one. Also the biggest mistake was the original engine I put in, 4A032 military surplus 4 cylinder air cooled boxer. Built the whole tractor around that motor and in the end pulled it for a EFI Kohler. The Kohler is awesome and anyone that thinks they need a diesel should try this tractor.

I need to make some kind of paint booth. That green tends to get everywhere and my barn is too nice to paint in anymore. Also testing everything out to make sure im happy with it before taking apart to paint. So far everything has exceeded my expectations except for the exhaust, it sounds like a Harley.

Very nice, did you adapt that loader from another unit?
I have a 1920 that's been getting a diesel swap although it's been on hold for about 5years.

Did you do anything to the front axle's besides the hubs? They are definitely a weak spot when you start adding the loader. I did the same hub upgrade on my Sunstar.

Front end seems very strong. I知 running a large bucket and have moved tons of modified stone with it. Pick up over 1000 lbs with only issue being the 6 ply tires pretty much flatten out. Power steering has also been great after installing the latter model revised tapper stearing arm. Been using this tractor hard for 3 years. Only front end upgrade other than trailer hubs is a piece of all thread and heims that mount behind the arms and double up the front plate that the arms pivot on.

The loader is a Case L360 I purchased new for $700. That goes on the boomer series 55hp tractors, lots of work to make it fit a GT. I also did JDQA front end so I can quickly change front attachments and buy JD stuff like my forks.

That link bar is probably the weakest part in the frontend so sounds like you addressed it. Noticed the JD style QA but didnt think it looked like a JD loader.
