Tractor
Kioti CK30HST
I got my CK30HST two weeks ago and have 42 hours on it now. We had several days of rain and the dealer picked it up to install the backhoe. They did a 24 hour turn-around for me on backhoe installation.
I guess I need to start getting ready for the 50 hour.
So far I got a County Line boom from TSC and a Farm Star PHD from the dealer.
My early impression of this tractor is very positive. I have pushed it hard and it has been good. Although I think I may have to safety wire some of the pins. I have lost quite bait of that type of hardware.

Congrats on your first tractor and your first post. Welcome.
42 hours is a lot in two weeks for many of us. I have 307 hours in just over 3 years with my CK35 HST. You mentioned a backhoe, what size and make is yours? Helps for future questions if we know what area you are in, let us know. You do realize pictures are a must, look forward to seeing a few.
Enjoy many safe hours in the seat. :cool2: :tractor: :)

Congratulatons on the new tractor. I've had my CK30hst for almost six years and it really does make hard jobs easy and much more fun. The best part is my wife likes to run it so I have a helper with some jobs. Enjoy the new toy and be safe.

Actually I haven't taken pictures of my tractor yet. While I was waiting for delivery I had downloaded a number of pictures from the Internet. I do plan to get my wife to take some shots of me working on it, but that hasn't happened yet.
I got the Kioti KB2475 backhoe mostly because that's what the dealer had and it was convenient to get with the financing. Looking at pictures of the Woods BH it might have been a good pick, because my only complaint with the KB2475 so far is banging my knees on the console when I jerk the controls. I guess that will teach me to be more gentle with the controls.
I live in central Maine. I have 6 acres on the side of a ridge. Part of that is Cedar bog. I have lots of big rocks.

Main reason I went with the Woods was it came with a factory 7 position thumb. The dealer I was talking to at the time (bought from someone else) was going to weld :p a 2 position thumb onto the Kioti backhoe, thought it was a bit hokey :confused2: . For me and my needs the thumb was very important, really would not have bought the backhoe without the thumb. :)

Have you tried adjusting the seat on the KB2475? I have the KB2485 and you can change the height and distance on the seat. There should be bolts on the base and the bottom of the seat. It takes a few minutes to adjust but once its right you never need to change.
