My Impressions My New MT 350E

New MT 350E was delivered last week- love this machine, tons of power and runs real smooth. I brush hogged aprox. 22 acres of old neglected pasture with tons of maple saplings and it didn't miss a beat. Also skidded out some sugar maple and cherry logs and the machine was smooth and handled it like a champ (big logs that were 10 ft plus in length). Actually there's only a few things i don't like about this machine- 1. the loader handles a bit different than my 2 kubotas, its not as smooth and there is a bit of a learning curve to it 2-gas tank- its behind the seat and its a pain in the a** to fill if your using cans, which is my only option now until i can get a large tank in here. 3- key placement- i'm 6'3" and my knee constantly hits the key if i move my knee around, bending it (i've had a bunch of back surgeries and i'm always moving around to get comfortable) Otherwise it seems to be a home run for me, more power than ill ever use and should be able to do whatever i need it to. I have 35 hours on it already and no issues so far.

Awesome! Sweet looking tractor. I can't wait for retirement and to move out on to a larger spread somewhere.

Yup- i retired 13 yrs ago with a bad back injury- still living in the burbs, the tractor is at my hunting cabin in central ny- 88 acres of woods and fields- i spend more time here than at home now, my wife retires in 4 yrs and then were going to live up at the cabin full time- cant wait

I wish my wife would move with me to our farm but she wont leave trhe grandkids.Yet.

LS should use the pic of your tractor. Looks great and good luck with it. I have a MT240HE on order. I think they have the same motor. I'm coming from a MT125 and then first thing I noticed was how smooth the 240 idled and how there was much less vibration. On my MT125 the tank is on the the side of the tractor. The 240 has the tank behind the seat like the 350. I use a fuel transport which is like a large wand that is a small pump that pumps the gas from the can of diesel onto the tractor's tank. It will still be a pain to fill.
