I'd finished blowing off debris and checking fluids and just took the tractor down the hill a bit and then back up.
It sputtered as it was turned to go uphill a bit. I released the hydro pedal and throttled it back to idle briefly. Then revved it back to about 1800 rpm and went slowly up the hill. No more sputters.
This happened to the JD 4010 once when some wax globs came out of the fuel due to a couple below 10 F days a few winters ago. I had to siphon the tank and then fish the wax globs out with a mechanics grabber tool.
Reckon this is what it is again? We, again, had some nights below 10 F this winter, and I've some fuel in there from what's in the generator's tank that has some bio in it.
After I got it up the hill, I revved it to full PTO speed before backing it into the garage. Couldn't do this when I had the globs in the 4010's tank.
