my L3830 is too big.now need a riding mower.

the l3830 i own bent a 6000lb rated car trailer that i borrowed in half.i think it whieghs 5000+ lbs with calcium in the tires.its a great tractor,the hydro is awsome but as a mower no way.looking at these riding mowers/tractors the sears model 27602 48" with the kohler pro 25hp at 2599.00 it hands down the best buy but the husquvarna 25hp kawasaki garden tractor looks nice except at 3700 its pricy.the deer l130 is 2499.oo at home depot and at any deer dealer but its a lawn tractor not a garden tractor.the g100 deer i have not seen yet but will check out tommorow.i really dont want to trade in my l3830 for a smaller tractor because we have a lot of heavy duty dirt moving and other stuff which will push the limits of this kubota tractor.bigger is not always better.bws

Both my neighbor and I bought JD LX277's w/ Freedom 42 mulching decks about 3 years ago. We have been very happy with them. I did a lot of research before we bought and all the reviews I got on the 17HP Kawasaki were excellent. They are spendy, but it should last me several years. I really like the Freedom 42 deck. It does an excellent job of mulching, then you don't have to mess with clippings. I had a JD STX38 before this mower. It was still in decent shape after 13 years of hard use. I think JD makes an excellent, but expensive, mower.

I have owned 2 Honda & 3 Briggs & Stratton 4 stroke engines. The Honda wins hands down. I wouldn't buy anything with a Briggs engine again. Unfortunately, you don't have a large choice of tractors with Honda engines. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Anyone - What does Kubota put in their lawn tractors?

I just noticed Sears has a model #27350 with a Honda V twin engine for just under $2000. My Honda tractor is over 10 years old and the motor still runs like a watch. If the Sears tractor will stand up as well as the motor, might not be a bad deal.
