2015 KUBOTA B2650ROPS
As some of you are aware my purchase of this tractor was based solely on the opinions of the members of this forum! Well what a pleasant surprise. Kubota hit a bulls eye with this model! This is the most underrated, tenacious, tractor I have operated or seen, period!

If a person owns a construction company and needs a mid sized, very capable tractor, the L39 is it! The tractor is truly a mid sized version of the John Deere 210 LE.

For those of you who have never seen an L39 in person, it looks like a headless beetle type bug on steroids with two big musseled up arms sticking out in front of it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That's great news. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We've accomplished allot with the first 150 hours on ours too, it truly is a major workhorse.

I have not posted awhile as I am out on disability recovering from back surgery. It is very tough for an active guy to be house bound. My Kubota went in for it's 50 Hour service and under warrantee had the loader control valve replaced as the loader was very weak , especially in curl.

I did get to use it once just before the operation. The lift on the loader seems to be improved as I lifted a large rock.

The Curl force on the loader is still very week. My loader will lift more than it will curl. Weak curl and back curl makes working with the limp wristed loader difficult.

The dealer has offered to come out to my property and check /reset the pressures. Hopefully this will get my L39 operating as everyone else reports their machine works, as I have a lot of work ahead planned for this machine. I hope it does a lot of the clean-up and finish work after the heavy excavation and land clearing gets done.

I will report the outcome when I have some good news.

You need to get the dealer on it ASAP. My FEL is quick and seems to have great capacity. As far as curl strength, I think I could pull or push myself up a steep hill with my FEL.

I have got myself out of many a jam with the FEL on my trusty old B7200, and that's with a tractor with loaded tires and at least 400 lbs of iron ballast bolted to the FEL undercarriage.

I also have gotten the L39 stuck. I it were not for the BH being able to lift the machine away from disaster, I'd still be stuck, as the FEL is useless. The curl force does a lousy job of backgrading and cannot push or pull the tractor around.

In a pile of dirt/gravel the loader will get stuck!

I with the stabilizers extended down to take the weight off rear tires, I cannot pick the front end of the machine up with the bucket. Is this normal?

Please again conform this is not a problem for the other L39's out there.

Dealer is doing a field visit August 31.

thanks,
Mike69440

PS I was charged a $400 for the 50-hour service and that included new UDH fluid for better cold weather performance i am told. About what I expected. I think dealer is trying to help with the FEL.

The lifting capacity seems a bit better, but how can you use a bucket that is weak on the curl?

Is it true that the L39's can lift a rear wheel off the ground with the BH attached using the FEL?

I would love my machine to be this strong!

I used the FEL to lift the front end up to remove the front tires so I could drain the front axle fluid. No problem.

My L39 FEL will lift the front end without the stabilizers deployed as the BH acts as a big 1500 Lb counterbalance and the tractor pivots on the rear tires.

But with the stabilizers extended down to take the weight off rear tires, I cannot pick the front end of the machine up with the bucket. I very much doubt this normal, considering the published specifications on the TL1000 FEL. Can anyone confirm this?

Mike,

I'll try to confirm tomorrow for you once I get it running again. Got a bit of a hydraulic leak.
