Made a trip to the scrap yard I normally frequent and found a 6ft Caroni finish mower.
One spindle was removed but was still with the mower and I can't see any reason for the spindle to have been taken off in the first place. Bearings seem to be fine, the mower is complete including safety gaurds for everything but the PTO shaft. The stem of one gauge wheel is bent and there's a dent on the back where it looks like it was backed into a tree.
Not a bad deal for $150 huh?
