In Oklahoma, if they are your fish they are your fish. The land owner needs no lisc. but in theory others do to fish on your property unless it is a fish for pay concession and customers need no lisc. Deer, elk, and migratory waterfowl are NOT your property and applicable game laws apply to wild birds. If you raise the birds they are like chickens. There is one place where the rules get fuzzy (to me) and that is if you raise for example, Quail and then release them. To harvest them requires a hunting lisc.
About the Montana... I think unless there is sudden quality problem or competition suddenly offers a lot more for their price, it is going to carve out a niche for itself and certainly seems to deserve to do that unless your unit is a fluke and somehow the fit and finish was non typical.
