My login keeps timing out within minutes

I haven't been posting here for quite a while, but I don't remember having this problem before. I was trying to make a new post and it was a fairly long paragraph, which took several minutes to complete. I don't type that slow, I was just thinking of what to say, then typing, etc. When I went to submit it, I was logged out and had to log back in again and start all over. It did it to me twice. I finally wrote up the paragraph in Word, then logged in again and cut and pasted the text into a new post. What is the time limit for making a new post?

Danny, if there's a time limit before you get logged out, I sure didn't know it. I'm sometimes pretty slow, but I'm not having the problem you are.

I found that while using IE, if I had active scripting turned off, that I would be logged off every few minutes. You might try turning active scripting on.

FIREFOX on both machines... not IE... I avoid IE for security and other problems unless I simply MUST use it.... which occurs because of the way some web sites are written.

Please continue discussion in this thread. No sense having to post in two threads. BTW, I use Firefox, 1.5.0.7 and have no problems, so this is, most likely, a problem at the browser end, not at the server. Thread closed.
