Branson 4720i
Discovered that I have to turn key to 'start', for @5-10 seconds without clutch pushed in so engine won't crank. This charges the glow plugs. Engine starts right up after doing this. Figured this out after some trial and error. So apparently my manual is not correct, as there is no 'left' key position. Thanks for everyone's input. Apparently this tractor doesn't like cool weather at all. I was always told hard cold starts were not much of an issue in the South, so that's why I thought there was a mechanical / fuel issue.

This is what I found out for my Branson 4720i (2008).

Its hard to go by their manuals, mine is full of typos and poor grammer. Not to mention the words are outside of the correct boxes in troubleshooting section.

With my 3510 I turn the key "ON" and the light on the dash lights up (glow plugs). After about 30 seconds the light goes out and I crank it up.
If it's really cold you can cycle that light/glow plugs a couple times before trying to start.
Clutch only has a safety switch for starter.
