My MF1445 weight !!!!

I am looking for a trailer so I figured I would look in the sales brochure to see the weight of my tractor, its almost 3900lbs. If someone else has a way to find out the weight, could you verify this for me. I can only imagine what it weights with my 1040 loader and bradco 509 back hoe on !!!! Someone give me a estimate on what this might weight with my loader and hoe on please.

I have learned that buying a nice tractor/equipment is the down payment on the accessories, trailer, attachments and much more and we can't forget the truck to haul it with and a place to put it

i have a 1547 and 1030 loader the book said the tractor alone was @ 3600 i think i took it to the dump with laodre and box blade (heavy gannon) it weighs 6840 full tank of fuel

Are you telling me with the addition of the loader and box blade your tractor weighed 3000lbs more! i though box blades only weighed like 500-1000lbs.... that means your loader is like 2000lbs or more??

This seems high..... here is what i was thinking in my case....

I just ordered a 1533 with FEL and BX80 bachoe.... I know that the tractor is around 3000lbs .... but i assumed with the FEL (500lbs) & Backhoe (700lbs) that i would be around 4200lbs.... is this a bad assumtion....

Have you got loaded tires? The tractor should weigh 3740 lbs With power shuttle trans, plus fuel, R-4 tires- 678 lbs, 1040 loader- 1356 lbs with quick lock adapter & 72" HD bucket, as for your backhoe I'm not sure but a MF 1480 Hoe is around 1500 lbs So your at about 7300lbs Plus if your tires are loaded. I would suggest a 12,000 lb capacity trailer With a length of 20'. That way your not overhanging if you curl the bucket down in the front.

I'm looking at the weights also, but for the MF1540 not MF1445. I haven't ordered a tractor yet, but have it narrowed down to a MF1540 or JD3520. I think the 2 tractors and implements should be very similar in weight. Anything bigger and I wouldn't be able to tow it with my 95 Chevy truck and 7000GVW trailer.

I found weights for the JD3520 and some attachments
Tractor 3000lbs with fuel and etc.
FEL 671lbs : HD bucket with edge 297lbs :: 968lbs
47 backhoe 974lbs : 20" bucket 109lbs :: 1083lbs
448 bachhoe 1474lbs: 24" bucket 116lbs :: 1590lbs

Total is 5051 with little hoe and 5558 with big hoe.

Most 7000GVW trailers have a legal towing capacity of 5500 pounds. So, the smaller hoe would be towable, and the larger hoe would not be. But one could take the buckets off and put them in the box of the pickup to get the bigger hoe down below 5500 pounds. I don't think the tires could be loaded.

Depending where you are, a trailer of 10,000 GVW or higher may require a CDL license.

yes my box blade is very very heavy and i do have loaded tires. i think the book said the loader is around 12-1500 lbs . the trailer i got is a 9990 gvw...they seem to rate them at that here in ca. so they dont have any problems with the weight police..jon

I'm looking at the weights also, but for the MF1540 not MF1445. I haven't ordered a tractor yet, but have it narrowed down to a MF1540 or JD3520. I think the 2 tractors and implements should be very similar in weight.

I don't know just how much but the 1445 will weigh a few hundred pounds more, at least 300-400 if not more. It is a larger frame tractor than the 1540.
