My MH 50 (identical to a MF) has the Continental Z134 engine that has always started and run like a Swiss watch.
Recently, it started right up, ran for about 10 secs, and then stopped running and would not restart. I disconnected the gas and air lines, both of which have good flow. It turns over strongly but won't catch.
The only other recent glitch occurred after I accidently left the key on and drained the battery, and now the battery won't stay charged. The wiring is old looking and probably original.
Does anyone have a diagnosis and recommended treatment for this sick patient? I need to start bush hogging so I'm hoping for a rapid recovery.
Thanks to all.
