My mid-life crisis hoe..

That's what my wife calls it... Just got the Woods BH 80-X on Thursday and put it to work, started digging 5, 36 ft long trenches for pole barn, took me 1 1/2 hrs per trench, I guess this isn't too bad , the soil is rock and clay and more rock. This is so much more backhoe than my previous 955 had, although tractors have similar HP, there is no comparison..
I had a choice between the JD and the woods and went with the woods, JD didn't offer a thumb, at least the dealer didn't know of one and it cost 1k less, very happy...must go dig somewhere...

Yea, my wife said the same thing. For a number of years I hinted around that I needed a backhoe and the reply was always the same: H@@@ no! Then one day it hit me that my wife thought I was talking about the whole machine and not just an attachment. Now I have a backhoe, but my wife still refers to it as my mid-life crisis pacifier. I have to hand it to her though, she got out of it with just a backhoe instead of an airplane.
