My nephew just graduated from Air Force basic training. He was the top physical trainee, top technical trainee, top Honor Graduate and the only Warhark for his entire training flight. As you can probably tell, we are quite proud of him.

I thought it important to pay honor to a young man like Titan since it seems that all we ever hear about his generation is negitive. I'm sure that many TBNers with military experience can appreciate what an accomplishment this is.

Just goes to show what a motivated individual can accomplish if they want to put in the effort. Congratulations and you have every right to be very proud of him. He represents the finest that this country has to offer...

It's an physical fitness award for meeting standards above the minimum training standards. "Thunderbolt" is a step above Honor Graduate and then "Warhawk".

Minimum Requirements:
2 Mile Run - 13:30
1.5 Mile Run – 8:08
Sit Ups – 80 (in 2 minutes)
Push Ups – 75 (in 2 minutes)
10 pull ups

My nephew:
2 Mile Run - 12:56
1.5 Mile Run – 7:38
Sit Ups – 82 (in 2 minutes)
Push Ups – 81 (in 2 minutes)
21 pull ups

Titan was the first Warhawk in the last 3 graduating flights. Now its off to survival school and then training as a refueling boom operator.

WOW, I got tired just reading that. That's a great accomplishment, it also reminds me I need to start doing some of those things. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
