Well I have been sharing in the wisdom at this site for quite some time. I thought maybe it was my turn to share. I received my 4010 with FEL, 60" MMM, Imatch and ballast box, folding ROPS, industrial tires and dual SCV. it was $15222 with tax. (I forget the base amount) if you want to know I will get it from my paperwork

After about 2 hours in the seat I have to say I am very happy. I have a couple of concerns but nothing major. The first is I removed my mid-mount mower and noticed that where the PTO shaft connects to the mower there appears to be a machined hole for a bolt to maybe pull the shaft tight around the male portion of the mower. I dont think it would ever come off (question coming) is there suppose to be a bolt there?

Something that I did not realize when I purchased my tractor is that the MatchOS is only available on the larger sized models. I did a lot of research and took for granted that it was standard on a 4010 because it wasn't listed as an option. I have to admit I was mildly diappointed but it wasn't a deciding factor when I bought the tractor anyways.

Another question, When setting the mower deck it says to set the wheels to the desired height but in the next paragraph it says for best mowing results the wheels should NOT ride on the ground. The Hydraulic lever is basicaly an up and down lever with no presets like some that I have seen. The best solution I have come up with in my vast experiance (LOL) is to set the deck to the level I want and then go to my driveway and lift it just a tiny bit.

This site rocks!!

Hi Rus,

I Have a 4210 with all the same attachments. When I first brought it home I thought about removing the deck, then I chickened out. Don't get me wrong I will remove it to install my snowblower. I dont really know about that machined hole, I looked in my manuel but it did not show any such hole. As for the deck height, I found the right height I was happy with, and the drove onto blacktop driveway. I placed plywood pieces under each wheel and slowly rotaded the adjustment lever to the desired height. Was kinda easy. Any questions just email.
Good luck Mike
