Just wanted to share my newest addition to my "herd" - my new JD X324, replacing my old L130 and joining my 2520 ( with my Wallenstein BX-42 wood chipper ). The 2520 is almost a year old.

The X324 is great - spent weekend on leaf cleanup with my Cyclone Rake Z-10 (not shown). I have never had 4-wheel steering before and this is great - given all of the trees we have, this will really be a time saver. Even with the CR attached, it is quite maneuverable.

If you get nostalgic for a L130, I'll trade you mine for the X324.

Looks good and enjoy.

Nice looking pair you have.

I started to do the same thing last year, thought about an x324 and 2520 for my landscaping work. Since I have to transport this in my work though I went with an x749 to handle most of what jobs I have in one piece of equipment.

I will say that the x324 would be just right for my own lawn and also think you will be well pleased with it. I have an L130 too so I know this is a good upgrade, enjoy the new mower.

Great minds think alike! We couldn't be happier with our X324 (except unless we could have justified an X749...). However, we ended up getting the MC519 cart instead of the Cyclone Rake due to the number of obstacles and heaving terrain we have. Since I've managed to escape lawn and leaf duties and my better half does it, having the smaller box and single power source works better for us, even though she has to empty the cart more often.

Oh, and I recommend getting the blowout kit for the mowing deck for leaf collection.

Congrats William
