Hello all.I Have been following the posts off and on for several months now and have learned alot. I have even gotten up the courage to post a coulple of times. A big thanks to all of you who have shared your knowledge and wisdom with all of us who don't have them, it has helped me to make a decision to buy a tractor. Good, bad, or otherwise, I now have a tractor and, though I was nervous for awhile after shelling out the cash for a used, non-American-made machine, so far I have had few disappointments and the butterflies are almost gone.
My new "Baby" is a 2002D with a Koyker 80 FEL. I also purchased a 4' Big Bee brand rotary cutter, a 5' Atlas grader blade and a 4' box blade (I can't remember the manufacuterer of the box). The dealer, Sid's Trading Co. in Iuka, MS. even threw in a boom pole.
After a few hours of use, I noticed fluid seeping out around the PTO shaft. I also broke a turn buckle while trying to free it up and tighten the chain so the lift arms wouldn't rub the tires when using the rotary cutter. I called Sid and in a few days, two new sway chains and a PTO shaft seal arrived on my doorstep - no cost to me. Thanks, Sid!! I still need to resolve a few minor issues with the 3-pt lift leaking down, but other than that, I am very impressed with the tractor.
Here she is the day I brought her home.
And here is my definition of a "Lunch Bucket". Actually, I was so excited (and nervous) about having a new toy, I didn't want to come home so my thoughtful and loving wife brought supper out to the farm to me. The only place to sit and eat was.........ON THE TRACTOR, OF COURSE!!!

We are beginning to build a house and the tractor will really come in handy. Wish us luck and thanks again. I love TBN and all the good folks here.
