Well, I went and bought my new box blade yesterday. After reading all the posts about box blades, I went shopping for a good deal. Woods and Land pride were out of my price range along with, I guess, just about anything over 650 bucks. I ended up buying a Howse EB72 for 569 bucks. Its a 6 footer with 6 scarifiers. Fairly easy to change the scarifiers. The thing was, it has, I believe, 3\8 steel all the way around. That was important to me because all the other cheaper ones had 1\4 inch steel. Didn't seem like they would take much of a beating. The Howse seems like a horse. The welds look allright. I put it on my old 1968 Ford 810 by myself without too much trouble ( slightly hungover, don't ask). Wife said no more dancing on the table+without a shirt on. Said my body doesn't look like it did when I was 20, HA. Anyway, gonna go play with it today.
