My New EZtrak 445

Yesterday I used my new 445 for the first time. I was very impressed with the cut and the ease. It took me about 30 minutes to get used to the steering. My wife was kind of intimidated with the steering. But in time she will get used to it. The one thing I noticed was I now have hardly any weed eating to do. I'd say the biggest drawback is the dust in the face and the amount of grass that piles up on the deck. But other than that, I'm excited with it.

I am looking at the JD EZT mower as we, either the 54" or 60" deck. Did you compare the JD to other makes? Can you adjust the deck height on the fly? How do you find the ride?
The JD looks like a heavy duty mower and I'm also looking at the cub cadet z-force. Just wondering how you like the JD.

I just purchased an Z435 with the 54" deck
I would have preferred the 48" deck but Lowe's doesn't carry them by me.
Having a gx345 with 54" as well as a cub cadet LT1050 that I need to sell
Ideally I would have loved a gx445 with 48 deck for the motor. but it is hard enough for me to by parts from my local dealer more or less a new mower!
So the z is very nice! I purchased a toro time cutter that I am going to return. It is nice but nothing near the quality or overall quality of the John Deere.

I would recommend the z435 and Z445 to anyone looking for a nice home owner mower. It is fast, cut quality is very good! It is the same deck being used on the garden tractors for quit a long time!

I am a big fan of the kawi motors but the B&S motor seems pretty good so far!
