The new tractor has really gotten my creative side going. I don't know if anyone else has ever used the same approach to add-on forks for a bucket, but I can tell you from about 8 hours of use, they work great. I used a couple pieces of 5/8" x 6" x 48" plow blade. I welded two pieces of 1/4" thick 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" angle iron on the ends, which I bolted through the back of the bucket with some 1/2" GR 8 bolts. I also used one GR 8 1/2" bolt on the bucket edge to keep the forks from spreading side to side.
On the trailer hitch, it allows me to back up to my 20' flatbed & pick it up without getting off the tractor to mess around with the jack. I welded on a clevis hook to pick up logs & drag them.
