I just purchased a Yanmar FX235 last week and so far it has been a fine tractor. It has a Bulldog 285 loader and a Box Blade, Post Hole digger, Disk & a plow. It has performed every job asked great so far.

I have 3 FX235 tractors and not one of them has the exhaust up the top of the tractor
Its a short one out the side like all 3 digit F s have.
Is yours a vietnamese ?
Im glad you like it, I use mine all the time in the winter to blade our parking lot.

I echo Eddie though, my 235 has the exhaust on the side, has yours been modified?
My only troubles have been with the 3 point hitch not staying down (see my earlier posts).
I'm glad to report that it was a minor problem with a ground wire to the UFO control. My dealer took it back, under warranty, to figure out the problem and luckily stumbled onto the wire link. It was a bit frustrating for a while!!
