That's a serious looking setup! What are you working on with it, building lots?

I have had a very good experience with the company as well....http://www.skidsteerexpress.com...they were very courteous in emails when asking questions, their shipping was superb and fast...while not on the size or magnitude of your grapple, my product met and exceeded my expectations....for a price much less than what I saw for like/similar products in other catalogs....I highly recommend them as well

Well truth be told....I am not using this for brush yet. I am still in the process of digging up a slug of car parts that were buryed here before I bought this place. Of course I did know about it untill after. The junk was not buryed deep enough so the ground keeps opening up and mother earth is puking it up. I have a crawler come out to dig up areas since tracks dont go flat. I am seperating the dirt from the metal and another pile of tires.
This grapple works great back draging from a pile then push or grab to a junk pile with no dirt, since the salvage yard will not take dirt.
Yes this is a project from ****, ten year plan to clean up. Alot of time and fuel to go.

DDT -

Nice looking setup!!

I've convinced myself I need a grapple and larger tractor for my property. Probably won't buy till next year, but been looking around at some equipment. I'd kinda "settled" on the rock grapple setup, but your version would seem to be better to use as a brush rake, which I could definitely use in my woods. I'm just wondering how easy it would be to pick up logs? I have numerous logs and stumps to move as well, it seems the lower extended lip would make it easier to pick them up......

And, not knowing the size of 'Botas.....is yours a 57 horse machine? My concern is weight of the grapple....I'll be looking at a ~50 HP machine, wherre bucket weight is around 300 lbs. I noticed the difference between the 60" and 72" is only 100 lbs.....but I'm wondering how it affects tractor dynamics. I'm assuming you have loaded tires, and rear counterweight as
well?
Any issues with the extra front weight?

And true, the prices seem very reasonable!!

DDT,

NICE GRAPPLE!

What a job though, buried CARS! You've got me beat then. All I have scattered and buried so for is rototilers, mag wheels, stoem windows, 55gallon cans of diesel, and tons of small misc crap metal. I have hauled over 2,800 lbs of scrap iron, and 2 full pick-up loads of aluminum, and a barrel of copper wire scrap. I've got more still to dig up (I discovered an unknown length of steel cable coiled under 6" of dirt under a pile of scrap that I have not been able to pull out yet), But so far nothing near the size of a CAR!

It really makes you wonder what were these people thinking?

So far I have only taken my grapple off once! and that was only to mount the tooth bar on the bucket! I have yet to actually USE the bucket! But I am planning to use it soon.

Happy Grappling sir!

PS - GREAT Price. My WR Long RGB72 was used and still cost more, and I got a smoking deal on it!

Be Well sir!
David

I do not have loaded tires, just added weight on box blade. My 50 pto hp tractor will pick up 1800 lbs acording to specs. I dont need rear weight to move grapple around empty ( park in shed ect.) It does work great on logs, the center of gravity is very close to pins so heavy loads are not a problem with a lot of control.
Now I do have whole cars but thank god there deep enough....I have hauled 15 to 20 ton off in the past 6 years. I really hope I am close to ther end.
