Ok, I've reviewed the past forums and didn't quite find the apples to apples comparison I was looking for.... I'm confident you guys will have .... an opinion /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

NH TC35 12x12 trans, 4WD, deluxe 3pt hitch, foldable ROPS, and grill guard

TC35 (above): $15,000
Rear weights: $ 400
16LA loader $ 3,800 with 72# HD bucket
84" LP RBT1584 blade$ 550 LP = LandPride T = tilt
84" LP LR2584 Rake $ 850
LP PH15 Posthole 12" $ 775
LP RTA 1558 Tiller $ 1,900
Total $ 23,275

Where can I work this down or does it seem reasonable?

EagleEye: What happened to the hoe? Your prices seem in the ball park - if you like the dealer. Tractor a bit, very small bit, high. FEL good. Implements are in ball park also except possibly the tiller. King Kutter makes a medium/heavy duty gear driven (not chain) 72" tiller that can be had for around $1200 with full complement of tines, and, frankly, looks to me like the equivalent Woods. The Landpride rakes are good - very springy tines. Remember that the LP 15 series is their light duty series, the 25 a bit heavier, etc. When do you take delivery? JEH

I'd think with a 35 HP tractor, you'd want to be purchasing Medium duty attachments, from whatever manufacturer.

Is there something about the Deluxe model that you don't want. Hyrdo maybe?

I got mine 2 years ago with the grill guard and HD bucket for right at 18k. I added lights and bucket hooks myself for just ~$20. The lights on the ROPs are wonderful additions if your ever going to be out after dark/before sunup.
good luck

I've tried the HST...it's nice but I just don't need it and therefore can't see paying for it... How much more does it cost ($1-2K)?

After all, it takes away a bit of power... and I don't need it...I consider it just another feature or gimmick to sell a tractor OR...another thing that can go wrong. BTW, that's why I've crossed JD off my list... they want too much money for a bunch of fancy gimmicks... I'll pass thanks... I want reliability, serviceability, power, flexibility, and most of all... a tractor that's just as durable and has the longevity that my old Ford 8n has... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Gary, I really like the idea about the lights... no that's a gimmick I can find useful (I like to bushhog until well into the dark hours.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

JEH, I'd love to get a BH but can't really justify the $ (.... if I get a Kioti, maybe) /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Good luck on matching the durability of your old Ford. You look young enough that you might find out if whatever you buy will last as long as your Ford has...not sure I would want to bet on it... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Other mfr. pricing:
$ 250-300.- Equivalent Standard Duty 7’ rear blade (I’d buy a Medium Duty blade instead for about the same price as LP SD...~$550.)
$ 450-500. – equivalent 7’ rake
$ 350-400. – equivalent PHD
$ 900-1100. – equivalent rototiller

All-in-all, you could probably cut your implement pricing in half with equivalent mfrs, with the exception of a better Med. Duty rear blade…

John,
Looks like I should just get my base tractor (w/FEL) from these guys and get my implements elsewhere... Sounds like that's what I'll do... thanks!
