Been wanting to add a 550xp to the saw stable to go with my 562xp. While surveying FB market place I saw a local add for a Husqvarna 545 Mark ii. Met up and looked it over, 2021 model, started up and ran perfectly. Has the x cut chain plus a extra new Oregon chain, and it doesn't look like it has been used much if at all. For $360 I gave it a new home.

I have the same exact saw bought in 2020 after my old trusty 20+ year old Shindaiwa took a dump on me. Very responsive and lots of power. Even on very hard and old eucalyptus we have here, it just cuts right through it.
I really feel it could use a longer bar and still have plenty of power for a full cut.

Well, i hope those work well for you guys. My lower end crapvarna is a POS. No hose clips on the fuel lines and sure enough one came off. Also, the bar tip clogs very easily in the chain slot.
That was a good price. I had a 545 for a while, it seems about the same as a 550 except for the programming. The only real difference I could see, at least in the specs is that the 550 has a 1/2 second burst of extra RPMs when you hit the throttle. That's only important if you're production cutting.

I have a pair of 545s I use, they're great little saws. Just picked up a 562XP to check it out.
Wife has a Husqvarna sewing machine, we took a picture of "his and hers tools".

Nice little saw!
I have an original 550xp that I use 90% of the time. Love it. Great power to weight. I run an 18" bar with the .325 chain.
