Mowing My new l175

Just bought this l175 with 1400 odd hours. Ah tires, wheel weights and front end loader. I thought 3500 was a fair deal and so far it seems like it was a good decision. Now looking for a finish mower for it and was hoping to get some advice from other owners on what they are using on this tractor and how their setup working for them. Locally there is a woods rm400r for 400 bucks and an rm48kb for 300. Thanks for any help you give. Dave

That's a good looking tractor. You will need plenty of weight in the back to fill that bucket. I would say look out for a John Deere, 261 or 271 rear mower. I have a 261, it has been great. It cuts nice and seldom has needed any repairs.

Thanks. I'll keep my eyes open for one of those. It has 3 wheel weights per side and they do a good job of balancing the rig but a little more in the rear would be great.

For sure. I like to keep a grader blade on my loader tractor. But it wasn't heavy enough. I got some lolly columns, and cut them into 3rds. Then I secured them to the grader blade with ratchet straps. It balances against the loader better, and also, applies more down pressure to the grader blade. It was a win-win. Filled tires also helps.

I have another question. I found a k-348-7 kubota rear finish mower. Only problem is the gearbox is marked 840 rpm. Is there any way this will work with either my 540 or 1000 rpm settings or does it require a model with an 840 speed? Thanks again
