It is with great pride and pleasure to introduce to you my new LK3054XS. It arrived about 8:30 this evening, and I couldn't be happier.
After much searching, comparing spec sheets, listening to many on TBN offer suggestions/opinions/advice, and testing out several different tractors, I finally settled on the Kioti LK3054XS. For me, there were a couple of things that sealed the deal. First and foremost, I loved the dealer. He struck me from our first conversation as a good ole boy that loves tractors and loves what he does. He and I talked for a while, and he never pushed me to one tractor or another, just offered suggestions and the pros and cons of diffent models and mfgs. Secondly, this model has a shuttle shift with a dual stage clutch. Yeah, I know that many here will swear by the hydro, but my work needs were for open field mowing, driveway maintenance, and some garden/soil work. Since this tractor doesn't have and FEL, I wouldn't be doing any loader work with it. The SS was what felt right to me out of everything I drove. Third, the price. Was it the cheapest tractor that I found? - No. Was it the best value? -By a long shot.
Since it was almost dark when it arrived, I didn't have the opportunity to get pictures. However, they will be forthcoming very soon.
I'm like a kid in a candy store tonight. I'm not sure I'll sleep... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
