Once in a while a blind squirrel finds a tiller! I have been looking for months now and finally got one yesterday. It is Tonutti TMA 150. It is an Italy made tiller with an Italian Rotis gear box, 59inch 6 blades per flange and 7 flanges (it is chain driven).. It was a display model that they had left over- 2 yrs or 3yrs old but brand new on some kind of display rack for farm shows. It was the only original Italian made Tonutti tiller they had left. Tonutti is going to some other tiller brand and is only going to put their name on them. So I was able to buy it for $1000 out the door. It is heavy duty with cat 1 and cat 2 holes. Blades are larger than I have seen on other tillers? A good buy for me.. I broke the plastic gear box protector getting it out of the truck (20 degrees) makes plastic like glass. I plan on fabbing a nice metal one. If I ever need them I can get parts also

Wow...excellent. I can't recall a plastic gearbox thing that wasn't broken...Keep away from it anyway.
Congrats on your purchase and we need updates along the way. What kind of tractor?

That is a great deal. Even the cheapest chinese units cost more than that. That guard shouldn't be hard to fix.

Enjoy that tiller, nice buy..I have a bush-hog branded tiller and do about ten acres a year of garden and food plots. In northern NY(rock garden) I have to plow first and leave the back flap wide open.It just chucks the rocks out the back, for the most part!!!.You didn't say if it has a slip clutch or shear pins.
If it has a clutch make sure you service before using, even brand new, they do rust up.Easy to do and only takes about ten minutes.

Enjoy the tiller and be sure to post how you like it. I think I will be buying one this spring.

Will do-- I have to do that on the cutter and tiller both this spring...
