Some nice gentleman donated a full recap within about 10 blocks of my shop on the bypass around Salisbury - Thanks! Before that, I had found a few crappy pieces.

Here's a company that sells nice, thick plastic which looks perfect, but was pretty expensive. IPX 2000 UHMW SHEET - Plastic Rods

Once I had this monster .. I had to figure out how to get it to flatten out because it was stiff as a frozen lobster tail. I started to notch it, but found weight, time and summer heat worked just fine.

I carried the whole mess to my local welder/fabricator, Welding by Jackson, Delmar DE. They were smart enough to center the mounting holes so I could flip it if wear becomes an issue. They also drilled the holes in the tread to match the holes in the blade and backing plate - that was lucky! All I had to do was buy a metal cutting blade for my Skill saw and nip the ends, then bolt it up.

I have some very industrial caster wheels to mount next .. may as well jazz up this old Meyers.
