I use a 5 foot bushhog on my tractor, for about 10 acres of fields each year, for me and a couple neighbors. I'll be glad to hear how a 6 footer does, but I doubt if there will be much difference. I use a 5 footer because I have a few really steep places to go up and down and I'm a little afraid of any extra weight on me in those areas. I wished for a cab on my tractor today. While I was bushhogging I saw a football sized bald faced hornets nest in some briars about 10 feet from me. It was just off the ground. I left a big circle of grass around the nest so I could finish the field. I'll do away with the hornets in the next couple evenings. No yellow jackets yet this year.
