Traded a Boxblade to milkman for this today. I'm really impressed with it. Not sure I'll be able to adjust all the controls, nuts, bolts, flaps, wings and dials. It looks like it can fly or something!!!:D Not sure what all it will do but one day I'll try it and see.

Nah, John, you don't want that thing. I'll come by in a week or so and get that thing off your property for ya. Won't even charge you to haul it away.

Do you know what it is? Does it look familiar? Will it fly? How much fuel does it use? How is it in the snow? I asked my wife if she looked at it and she said she did. I asked if she didn't think it looked wierd and she thought so. My Pastor has been preaching on Plowing, keeping your eyes straight ahead and staying in rows and the crops later. He grew up on a farm. I had offered to give him my antique horse drawn disc and he told me no but he'd sure like a picture of it. Sent him email pictures of "this thing" and some of the horse drawn disc today. Anxious to get his response tomorrow, his dad's was a horse drawn plow so it probably didn't look like this one.:)

Just a finned duck tail to flip the furrow over. Interesting way to lighten the load while providing the effect desired. Can't say I've seen alot of 'em, but I'd have that thing working my back 40 tomorrow after church.

I pulled a 2 bottom JD like that through a lot of acres years ago. Back then we called them slatted mold boards. Idea was that they scoured better in sticky conditions.

Looks like it is in very good shape

I've tried to get it to fly and it won't so I'm giving up and going to take the first $300 offered and given. I'm giving you fair warning, I can't get it to fly but maybe you can. I did get it to plow some new ground which it did great at and also used it to dig some almost perfect 6" wide by 6" deep trenches but no flying.:( :confused3:

I have a single bottom 12" horse drawn one made the same way. Saves weight and money, less metal.

I'm also letting my Taylor Way 4' Rotary mower that I used one time go for $500.
