My New Toy is in the Garage :)

We'll I paid a visit to Messick's on Thursday to pick up my new toy. BX2230 with Woods FEL and BH. I've been talking about it in other posts. It was an interesting trip home since I had to fit it into a 5x10 trailer that was WAY too small but was able to handle the weight.

The 60" MMM was put in the back of my Suburban. I removed it with the help of some light duty forkes from Paynes. Well worth the investment since I would have never been able to the 60" desk out of the truck.

After two hours of detailing, yes I waxed and detailed a tractor, its looking pretty sweet.

If it was raining so hard I'd be out learning the BH in the woods, but that will have to wait. Off to California (San Jose) for a week on business.

I posted some pics on my site below that I'm working on as a project with my son for cub scouts.

Already added a Tuff Top canopy and H&H EX Landscaper digger.

Nice looking tractor, Matt. Is the cost of the EZ toothbar comparable to Markham's? Do you know what the advantage is of having so many teeth?

THE H&H EZ Landscaper is listed at $429 plus shipping. I would think you'd able to do a bit better than that however. It is one heavy toothbar.

Its meant to be able to strip grass and brush better than a normal digging toothbar.

I had the FEL bucket over the ramp in the air! and the BH had to be over the trailer and sideways. A 14 footer is the minimum for this beast with the FEL and BH. I'm looking at a 14' tandem.

It was VERY SLOW going. I did use straps over chain however. Not a chain fan. I had a WLL of over 10,000# on a 3000# load so I was fine. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

That is a great looking tractor. Nice toothbar too...I'm a big fan of H&H since I have the standard toothbar myself. I like the one you have better...

After looking at your pictures things are starting to become clearer I must tell you.

Junkman never mentioned having a son...so I can't be sure. But after seeing the pic of your dog Abby, and remembering the pic under Junkman's name, well I started to wonder...

Then I noticed that your garage looks a lot like the Junkman's....hummm

Finally "Junkman" and " Scrounger" sure do sound like blood relatives! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

And Junkman seems to have dropped off the face of TBN recently and now you are leaving town too!
